We had absolutely beautiful weather today as apposed to considerable rain last night. We visited the Mayor of Katsuura City and Okitsu Junior High School for Intercultural Exchange. The Junior High School Students had been preparing for this day for six months or more and were extremely excited to see everyone. Our delegation visited classrooms and took part in Basket ball, Mathematics, Computer Studies, Calligraphy and Music. We just came back a few minutes ago to eat a little lunch and its off to Tokyo and Kanto International Senior High School where approximately 1000 students are waiting with their host families at a welcoming ceremony that is being prepared for us. We will write again soon and tell you how it went!

昨晩の激しい雨から一転して美しい日を迎えました.
今日は交流のために勝浦市役所と興津中学校を訪問しました.
興津中学の生徒たちは今日のために半年以上も準備をし,参加者に会うのをとても楽しみにしてくれていました.
世界教室の参加者たちはグループに分かれ,バスケットボール,数学,コンピュータ,書道,音楽の授業に参加しました.
たった今,訪問先から昼食のために戻ってきましたが,これからおよそ1000人の生徒と、ホストファミリーの待つ東京へ向かい、ウェルカム・パーティーに参加します.
